It is interesting to explore this ancient stadium. It is so enjoyable,
in part, due to the fact that it is not over run with tourists. You
get the feeling that you have the place all to yourself.
There is an extensive network of tunnels below the stadium floor.
The tunnels are littered with fragments of the great ornaments which once
adorned the amphitheater.
The curving tunnel above, on the right, is located beneath the seating area.
