This image does not do these crystals justice. They are beautiful
when viewed first hand. The needle like projections range form 2mm to 12mm
in length.
The problem with this picture was that the steam kept fogging up the lens
of the camera. So, I had to step back about 6 feet and zoom in.
Then the steam made it difficult to get a clear picture... :-(
To keep the steamy vapors at bay I should have brought a fan and a REALLY
long extension cord!
